Hello
Good morning
Good afternoon
Good day

Bonjour
"bon" means good, "jour" day.
Do not say "BUN-JAW" !
Hello Peter Bonjour Pierre
Good evening
  Good evening ladies and gentlemen
Bonsoir
  Bonsoir mesdames et messieurs
Hi
  Hi everybody!
Salut *
  Salut tout le monde! *
*[Very informal, use this only with close friends.]

Comments:
*  It is very common in France to say "bonjour" to everybody, when you enter a shop, restaurant or bar etc.
*  Men normally shake hands as a greeting and farewell.
*  When you greet someone who you know well, you often kiss him or her on each cheek. This is a fixed French rule.
*  Within the family cheek kissing is normal between all sexes. In the north of France you kiss each check twice, whilst in other regions it is once.

When introducing yourself in a formal situation you can simply extend the hand to shake with the other person and pronounce your name.
Depending on the situation, just say your first name and shake, or if it is more formal, your first and surname then shake.
